Tea Sandwiches

Yield: 24-36 canapes
Ingredients:

1 loaf thinly sliced white bread
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
1 large package cream cheese
Chives, garlic, pineapple juice, chili sauce, salsa or other flavorings

Directions:

Remove crusts from bread, saving for another purpose. Cut in shapes with cookie cutter.
Cut cucumber in same shapes as above.
Soften cream cheese and mix with pineapple juice, or chives and garlic and a little milk it make a soft consistency,or other flavoring.
Fill bellows with cream cheese mixture and use decorator tip to pipe onto bread and/or cucumber. Garnish with sprigs of dill or other fresh herbs.

Hint:Use small blender to process salsa or chutney with chunks too large for the decorator needle, or use the small needle

Bread may also be lightly toasted and spread with mayonnaise, if desired.
